Larkhall Athletic Champions Play Safe: Join Us for a Safer Football Community!

At Larkhall Athletic, we are proud to be part of the nationwide Play Safe campaign, an initiative that brings the entire football community together to promote the importance of safeguarding in our beloved sport. This Saturday at 3pm, we invite our fans, supporters, and everyone who cherishes the spirit of football to join us at Plain Ham football ground – to be part of a safe, inclusive community for all.

The Play Safe campaign, endorsed by the NSPCC, extends its influence across every level of English football, from the Premier League to grassroots teams like ours. It’s a collective effort that emphasises the role each one of us can play in ensuring the safety of children and young people in the world of football, regardless of our role—be it coaches, players, parents/carers, spectators, or volunteers.

Furthermore, as part of this year’s Play Safe campaign, we are promoting a free online Safeguarding Awareness Course for Parents & Carers. We’re encouraging people from across the football community take this course. It only takes 30 minutes to complete, but the knowledge it imparts is invaluable.
