I am an avid amateur photographer, born and raised in Bath. I am qualified in wedding and portrait potography. I particularly enjoy street and portrait photography, capturing people’s energy. I shoot mainly for pleasure, sharing my images in exhibitions, competitions and on social media. One day, I may sell my images, but in the meantime, please enjoy my collection at Visit Blackmore Photography
I first became interested in photography when, by chance, I found myself on a ship in Antarctica. I had with me a rather basic film camera and little by the way of photographic skills. As a result I was unable to come anywhere near close to capturing the breathtaking scenery and wildlife that abounds in and around Antarctica. That was the trigger for the passion I now have for photography. My aim is to capture the world, in all its constituent parts, as it is. In consequence I have developed a broad portfolio of images from around the world that is probably best described as travel photography. Included within this portfolio are images of landscape, people, wildlife, architecture, culture, nature and more. I have in recent years taken up sports photography and am grateful for the opportunity and welcome provided by my local club, Larkhall Athletic, to watch and photograph the excitement and drama of live football. More of my work can be found on my website: Visit Jeremy Richards Photography and for photos of Larkhall Athletic, on Facebook: Visit Facebook
