Harvey Pritchard – Player Spotlight!

Next up in the Larkhall Athletic hot-seat, the spotlight falls on Harvey Pritchard, a dedicated striker with a football journey that weaves through Hallen, Thornbury Town, and Tytherington Rocks.

Reflecting on his experience at Larkhall Athletic so far, Harvey expressed, “It’s a huge honour to be part of this club who have welcomed me; I’ve truly enjoyed my time since being here.”

Delving into the essence of playing for Larks, Harvey emphasised, “The best thing is the team bond in the group.” I’m sure I speak for many when I say that you can see how that manifests on the pitch – with Harvey connecting really well with his team mates on many occasions this season.

The powerful striker has his feet firmly on the ground here at Plain Ham, with big ambitions on the horizon. “My aspiration is to play as high as possible in the future, and I’m determined to help the team reach the playoffs this season.”

Balancing football with his role as a highway maintenance operative, Harvey finds time to hit the gym during when he’s not working on his game. “I enjoy going to the gym to stay fit and focused. It’s essential for my overall well-being and performance on the field.”

Harvey may be known for his strength, but it’s his tenacity and stamina that have shone this season. Harvey defends from the front, with a Carlos Tevez-esque battling mentality, he’s always closing down defenders and it doesn’t go unnoticed by the Larks supporters.

To the ardent fans, Harvey conveyed his gratitude with the words, “Thanks for coming and supporting us every week. We’re working hard, and with your backing, we hope to make the play-offs this year and give it a good proper go.”
