Larks foward, Dawid Regula, shares his thoughts on the club, his role on the field, and the meaningful connections he has built within the team.
Describing the club as “Special, because that’s what the club is!”, Dawid expressed the unique atmosphere that sets Larkhall apart. For Dawid, the best thing about playing for the mighty Larks is seeing the impact it has on the people that make up the fabric of the club. Dawid revealed, “The best thing about playing for the mighty Larks is doing it for all the people behind the scenes, seeing how much it means to them. That’s the best part about playing for Larkhall.”
Looking ahead, Dawid has clear ambitions aspirations for Larks, stating, “I want to get this club promoted and to get 20+ goals and at least 10 assists this season!”
Reflecting on his football journey, Dawid listed Shepton Mallet and Roman Glass as some of his former clubs.
Outside of football and his career as a water and gas engineer, Dawid finds joy in spending time with his family and watching Liverpool, a team he clearly admires. When it comes to role models, Dawid looks up to Mo Salah: “…because he’s the Egyptian king, and Egypt is my favourite holiday destination.” That’s difficult to argue with!
When asked about the joker in the squad, Dawid points his finger towards Jack Camm, “…but it’s not laughing with him, it’s laughing at him. Too many stories to tell about that guy.”
Expressing his gratitude to the fans, Dawid shared a heartfelt message: “Thank you so much for supporting us home and away. You honestly don’t know what difference it makes and how much we appreciate it. Hopefully, we can all do it for you and get promoted. Thank you.”
His words echo the big connection between the Larks team and supporters.
Up the Larks!
