Callum Chalmers signs for Larkhall Athletic!

We caught up with new signing Callum Chalmers ahead of him joining the Larkhall Athletic strike-force this weekend. The prolific striker joins up with Ollie Price’s squad after a successful campaign at Thornbury Town, which has seen him bag eighteen goals already this season…

What attracted you to the club and why did you decide to sign for Larkhall Athletic?

“For me the opportunity was too good to turn down. I’ve been wanting to take that step up to the next level for a little while but knew the move had to be right. With the new pitch, style of play and Larkhall being so close to home it was a really attractive move to make.”

What are your personal goals for this season and what do you hope to achieve with the team?

“Personally, I want to continue my run of goal scoring form and show I can play at this level. I know there is still lots to learn and want to improve as much as possible.

Hopefully this can then push the team further up the table where they belong and finish the season really strongly. Who knows maybe we can make a late playoff push.”
