Larks through to semi-final!

The Larks made it through to the semi-final of the league cup, defeating Premier Division opponents again to do so.

The score line does not really reflect the visitors’ dominance. Chance after chance was spurned and although we took the game to our hosts, who barely threatened our goal, it was nearly 75 minutes before the breakthrough goal, a fine narrow-angled left-footed shot from Alex Lambert. Our man of the match, for an impressively energetic debut, went to new singing Aysa Corrick.

So we now play Didcot Town away in the semis, probably on Tuesday 27th February. The winner will face Hitchin Town in a two-legged final.
