FA TROPHY SCRAPBOOK

FA Trophy – keep the memory alive.

Larks fans have enjoyed five outstanding victories in the FA Trophy competition this season and now look forward to the fixture at Stockport County on 15 Jan 22 in the last 32. Wow, the last 32!!

All of us will have our own special memories from these games. Starting with the visit of Slimbridge to Plain Ham in early October, followed by the short trip to Paulton in early November – what an amazing start to that game – then two more away games, first at Marlow – what an amazing finish to the game – and then at Wimborne – what a lovely stadium and a dominating performance by the Larks against senior opposition. All leading to the visit last weekend by AFC Totton and another exhilarating second half performance by the Larks in front of our largest and youngest crowd for many seasons. And now to Stockport County!!

So, should you find a quiet moment over this holiday period and would like to share your particular memory of this unparalleled journey, then please capture in a few sentences that special performance, pass, save, tackle, goal and send to 67jimmymc@gmail.com.

Happy New Year to all and see you at Plain Ham on 27th and/or Melksham on New Year’s Day.
