Larkhall dominated the first half with the majority of the ball, creating good chances.
A well worked goal in the 21st minute beginning with Larkhall’s Wayne Nderemani who made a tenacious run up the left flank and a cutting pass to Alex Lambert who took the ball past two Slimbridge defenders along the goal line, skillfully lofting the ball to the near post where Slimbridge defenders attempted clearance over their goal only to hit the post, with the rebound falling to Lewis Powell, who powered it home with his head to put Larkhall one up.
Slimbridge came back into the game in the second half, edging the domination. Despite the Larks doggedness, Slimbridge created a good opportunity in the 89th minute from a corner which Shuan was unable to prevent the ball from trickling over the line resulting in a scrappy goal.
Larks failed to take advantage of their early domination which cost them, what should have been a well worked victory.
