Larks Defeated by Shaftesbury

Did it cross the line or not! A strong Shaftesbury side probably deserved the win but the game swung on two decisions on whether the ball crossed the goal line. Shaftesbury’s shot was deemed to have crossed and the Larks header at the other end was not. But the real story of the game was the Larks inability to take advantage of their first half performance which should have seen at least a three goal lead, hitting the post twice and missing a couple of one on ones with the keeper. We move on with a tough away fixture at Winchester City this coming weekend.
