Larkhall Athletic vs Bitton Weds 23 September KO 7.45pm

Both Clubs are looking forward eagerly to the upcoming FA Cup qualifying Round Fixture at Larkhall. The match will be decided on the night, through penalties if the scores are level at 90 minutes.

We are expecting a gate of around 250.

Both clubs are looking forward to a well-supported match but NOT at the expense of adding to the Coronavirus transmission rates in our locality.  So, please take note of the following and act accordingly:

If you should be in quarantine after returning from abroad

If you have recently been in contact with somebody exhibiting Coronavirus symptoms

If you have been contacted by the national track and trace organisation and have been told to self-isolate

If you are exhibiting any of the Coronavirus symptoms

If you have a temperature above 36.9 degrees centigrade

If you consider yourself “vulnerable” to Corona Virus

THEN PLEASE DON’T COME TO THE GAME

If you come:

You can look forward to fresh air and a cracking game between our two clubs and f the forecasts are to be believed – bring a brolly

Allow sufficient time to enter and leave the ground and avoid crowding together at all times.

You will be required to provide, on arrival, contact details to support any subsequent track and trace actions. This is now a legal requirement.

You can bring cash and cards

Your temperature may be taken and anybody with a temperature measuring above 36.9 degrees centigrade will not be allowed to enter the ground

You will be asked to use hand sanitiser before entering the ground

There will be many new ground rules in place to ensure fans are distributed evenly around the ground and social distances are maintained.

The Club house will be open but numbers will be heavily restricted.

The full range of refreshments will not be available, however there will be an additional outside catering facility available under canvas.

Groups of more than 6 congregating together/ standing together will not be allowed

You will be asked to follow the instructions of the club stewards.

These instructions are not optional. It is imperative that they are adhered to protect against spreading  of the coronavirus. The onus is being placed firmly on clubs to marshal fans to achieve the specified social distances. Football needs your help in this regard if we are to continue to benefit from crowds at games. So please just do the right thing.
