Larkhall Athletic 1 – 0 AFC Totton

Larkhall Athletic dominated the first half with a commanding performance. We made four or five unconverted chances on the Totton goal with Josh Jones going close to giving us the lead. The pressure culminated with Lewis Powell being fouled inside the box in the 37th minute for a stone wall penalty.

Our top scorer stepped up to the mark to score a well taken penalty into the bottom left, sending the Totton keeper the wrong way to make it Larkhall Athletic 1 – 0 AFC Totton at HT.

AFC Totton opened the second half strongly, getting close with a header from Craig Feeney which was matched with a heroic out-stretched tip over the bar by Shaun Semmens. The Larks continued to play some fine passing football, retained possession well and defended in numbers when Totton broke forward.

Well done lads – a well deserved victory.
