In Memory of Catriona Glen

It is with a great deal of sadness that we have to announce that Catriona Glen, long term supporter of the Larks and friend to so many of us, died on Thursday 29 September.

Catriona was a warm, wise, witty and caring person who will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She was an important member of the group that helped co-found Larkhall Athletic Supporters’ Club in 2018/19, becoming its first Secretary and a Trustee. She also was able to volunteer her time to help the club on numerous occasions.

Her contribution in so many ways, above all as a wonderful person whom it was a privilege to know, will never be forgotten. Spending time with her in the clubhouse after a match discussing the football over a drink are memories to cherish. 

In her memory, the club will be holding a minute’s silence before the match against Bideford AFC on Saturday. Our thoughts are with her partner Martin, her family and friends at this difficult time.

There will be a memorial service for Catriona at St Saviour’s church at 3pm on 21st October, followed by drinks and food at the football club. Everyone who knew Catriona is welcome.
